About Me

My name is Jennifer - at the moment I'm writing this, I'm 28, have been with my husband (then boyfriend) for 11 years, and married for 4.  We have a wonderful two year old, D2 (or, more accurately, my husband's miniature clone).  Between the two of them, I'm challenged everyday, that has more to do with me than them. I have the type of personality that asks why, and I truly want to know, I'm relentless in getting it.  Sadly, or, maybe fortunately in life, there isn't always a need to answer the why.  This has been very frustrating for me, I think that this method worked great when it was just me I was serving, but making me responsible for two other individuals, well, this has been enlightening. Anyhoo, back on track, I'm in Human Resources for a luxury lifestyle company, while my husband works in Operations for an über-large winery in the Central Valley, one that I previously worked at for almost 5 years, also in HR.  I dabble in a lot of things, but I'm not really good at any one particular thing.  What I do enjoy the most is graphic design, and that's mostly because it's so opposite of the corporate restrictions that HR presents.
